BIOL-334: General Histology

This course focuses on understanding how staining of tissue provides anatomical and  pathological information of different structures in the body. These connections will be demonstrated through examination of both digital and physical histological slides. Topics will include understanding the morphology and function of epithelial, connective, muscle, and nervous tissue and understanding how these four tissues function together as part of organs and organ systems. Prerequisites: Successful completion (C- or better) of BIOL 111 and 112 with labs and CHEM 111 and 112 with labs. Spring.
