CHEM-230 : Environmental Chemistry

This course provides an overview of the chemical principles that govern the reactions, transport, effects and fates of chemical species in water, soil, air and living environments. The effects of technology and man's activities on the chemical composition and properties of the natural environment will be discussed as they relate to chemical processes. Pre-requisite:  Successful completion (grade of C- or better) of CHEM 220 and CHEM 220L. Co-requisite: CHEM 230 Lab, 1 credit hour. Spring.
