Credits 1.0
Academic Level
Undergraduate

This lab course provides hands-on experience in evaluating the physical and mechanical properties of soils for geotechnical engineering applications. Experiments include soil classification, determination of permeability, compaction, consolidation, and shear strength. Emphasis is placed on standard testing procedures, data analysis, and the interpretation of results to assess soil behavior and suitability for construction projects. Students will also gain practical skills in laboratory safety, teamwork, and effective communication of findings through technical reports. Co-requisite or Pre-requisite: CE330 Geotechnical Engineering
