CE-412: Structural Design II

Credits 3.0
Academic Level
Undergraduate

This course builds on foundational structural design principles, focusing on advanced topics in concrete, steel, and timber design. Students will investigate and apply seismic loading requirements, along with other complex design considerations, to develop robust and safe structural systems. The course also introduces the use of computerized analysis and design tools to aid in the evaluation and optimization of structural designs. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to address advanced structural design challenges with both theoretical knowledge and practical software applications. Pre-requisite: CE312 Structural Design I
