CBIO-220L: Freshwater Fisheries Mgmt Lab

This lab focuses on the application of fisheries management techniques, including how to age fish and estimate population sizes. Common fish sampling methods and equipment will be used for data acquisition and analysis. Field trips will be made to regional hatcheries and other facilities that are involved in freshwater fisheries conservation and management. Prerequisites: Successful completion (C- or better) of BIOL 111 and 112 with labs. Corequisite: CBIO 220 lecture, 3 credit hours. Spring even years.
