This course will examine picture books, middle grade, and young adult writing. Students will gain a better understanding of the literature and psychology of young readers, and how to communicate with them through creative writing. Pre-requisites and/or co-requisites: Prerequisites: ENGL-101, ENGL-102, and Pre/Co-requisite: ENGL-240 or ENGL-250. Course offered once every three semesters.
