This course is a specialized study of issues, themes, periods, areas, and trends in American History. It satisfies one of two required, upper-level American history courses for History majors. It may be repeated for additional credit with a different topical heading. Specific topics will be chosen by the instructor. Prerequisite: six credit hours of history or permission of instructor.
