Design and analysis of thermofluid components and systems used for energy transfer and fluid transport. Topics include ducts, pipes, valves, pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, heat exchangers, burners, and fluid networks. Emphasis is placed on component selection, performance analysis, system integration, and design decisions based on thermodynamic, fluid-mechanic, economic, and operational considerations.
