This course is designed to introduce students to the professional phase of the physical and occupational therapy curriculum and the profession. Students will explore the historical development of rehab profession, scope of practice, professional roles, and organizational structures of the physical and occupational therapy professions, as well as the roles of other health care professionals within interprofessional practice.
