This course will review principles of applied functional kinesiology and biomechanics affecting function of the musculoskeletal system including application of osteokinematics and arthrokinematics of the spine, upper extremities, and lower extremities with review of muscle origin/insertion and tissue mechanics of these regions relating to overall mobility and stability by way of clinical application. Students will develop their foundational biomechanical principles including lab coursework that will include use of palpation for movement analysis and goniometric assessment. Fall.
