The Accounting concentration provides students with a strong foundation in accounting concepts and principles, preparing them for diverse career opportunities in the field. Students will develop knowledge in financial reporting, taxation, auditing, managerial accounting, and accounting information systems while gaining practical experience with industry-standard tools and technologies. Graduates will be prepared for careers in public accounting, corporate finance, government, and nonprofit organizations.
Expected outcomes of the BBA - Accounting concentration include:
- Apply the steps and processes of the accounting cycles using manual and computerized accounting systems.
- Apply cost accounting principles to service and manufacturing environments.
