The maximum amount of double-counted credit hours for the LMU-CVM Early Acceptance pathway is 33.5 credits. LMU limits eligibility for this pathway to exceptional students who meet the enrollment criteria. Students are still required to meet the student learning outcomes (SLOs) for each program, so the quality and integrity of both programs are not jeopardized. Upon completion of the first year in the DVM program, the BS is awarded. If the first year of the DVM program is not successfully completed, further coursework is needed to complete the BS degree.
